<p>Fifteen films made it to the festival, ten of which are under the New Breed category and the other ten under the Directors Showcase category.</p>

<p><em>Ekstra</em>, starring Vilma Santos, is perhaps the entry that’s making the most publicity as aside from the Star for All Seasons, there are other highly popular mainstream actors in the film including Piolo Pascual and Marian Rivera.</p>
