Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson is ready to bare details of his life as a fugitive – on the silver screen. And Robin Padilla agreed to star on the film.
The movie will be about Lacson ‘s lif as he fled the country as a fugitive after a Manila trial court ordered his arrest in February 2010 on charges of ordering the murders of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and his driver, Emmanuel Corbito, in 2000.
Lacson said:
“It will focus on that episode in my life when I was in hiding.”
Columnist Raymond Burgos conceptualized the story, which was made into a script by Jose Carreon. The movie will be directed by Romy Suzara and is being eyed for entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival in December.
The movie will be shot in some parts of Europe andRobin Padilla will be joined in the cast by real-wife Mariel Rodriguez, who will play Mrs. Alice Lacson.
